Join the ultimate endurance challenge at the NorCal Backyard Ultra’s "Last Person Standing" event on November 8th. Starting Friday at 5:00 PM, runners must complete a 4.2-mile loop every hour until only one remains. With no set finish line, the race continues until the final runner stands. Test your limits, push past fatigue, and see how far you can go in this grueling battle of stamina and willpower.

"Mini" Last Person Standing

Not ready to run beyond 24 hours? The "Mini” Last Person Standing is perfect for you! Starting Saturday at 8:00 AM, this event offers the same 4.2-mile loop every hour, but with a 24-hour limit. Whether your goal is 16 miles or 60, the Mini provides a challenging yet achievable endurance test. Experience the thrill of the Backyard Ultra format without the pressure of an endless race.

- Each participant is encouraged to bring their own aid station supplies (i.e. tent, tables, chairs, & food) and set up near the start / finish line. As you should have time to head into your own personalized area between laps.
- There is one aid station at the start / finish line, under a warm tent, where there is water, hydration mix, light snacks, and warm food. There are no aid stations along the course nor is it allowed to receive aid on course by crew.
- Start Date & Time: Friday November 8, 2024 at 5:00 PM
- Start Location: Beals Point, Granite Bay, CA
- Format: At the top of each hour, runners must START the next 4.2 mile lap and END the previous lap. Failing to show up at the top of the hour at the start line will disqualify you from the next lap and the race ends there for you. Last person standing wins!
- Distance: 4.17 Miles
- Elevation Gain: 230ft
- Start Date & Time: Saturday November 9, 2024 at 8:00 AM
- Start Location: Beals Point, Granite Bay, CA
- Format: At the top of each hour, runners must START the next 4.2 mile lap and END the previous lap. Failing to show up at the top of the hour at the start line will disqualify you from the next lap and the race ends there for you. Race ends for all "Mini" distance runners at 24 hours / 8:00AM Sunday.
- Distance: 4.17 Miles
- Elevation Gain: 230ft
All runners will score a NorCal Backyard Ultra hoodie and a custom wood award based on the number of miles run.

Top finisher will receive a custom wood plaque.
